In response to increasing demand for its range of electronic equipment enclosure solutions, Rainford Solutions has invested in new 80,000 square feet premises located at Rainford Industrial Estate.

The new assembly, integration and test facility has more than twice as much manufacturing and assembly floor space as the previous location. The increased space has enabled Rainford to restructure its operation and create dedicated areas for goods receiving, machinery, welding, electrical testing, stores and specific product assembly lines and cells.

Ideally positioned close to the M6 and M58 motorways, internal and external reaction to the move has been very positive. Brian Walker, sales manager, Rainford Solutions comments: “Consistent year on year growth resulted in the need for us to expand our manufacturing and assembly facilities. Although we were sad to leave Wigan our investment in the new site has already reaped rewards in terms of a number of new contract wins and orders for volume manufacturing with higher assembly and integration. The move has been very successful!”
