Rainford Solutions has delivered on schedule the first two sets of special
thermally managed and shock and vibration protected cabinets for an
Electronic Warfare system to one of Europe’s major defence contractors.
The
cabinet systems were designed and modelled to prove thermal and
structural performance prior to manufacture. This removed the need for
physical prototypes, thereby reducing the overall project costs and
speeding up the time for delivery of the first production units.
These first units delivered are full production units and once integrated
with their electronic system, will be delivered for operational service.
